Cutting Edge Service in Cwmbran
A new barber’s shop in Cwmbran is aiming to prove it’s a cut above the rest after opening its doors in the town.
Cwmbran Barbers has opened on the upper floor of The Parade, creating three new jobs, and the shop will be run by Justine Hennah and Nick Collier.
Justine said: “We have run a similar shop in Newport for the past ten years, and we are hoping to have just as much success with our new shop in Cwmbran.
“Our business is aimed primarily at male customers with a walk-in/no appointment necessary system offering a professional male grooming barber service.
“But we also have a special area of the shop reserved for younger customers, which we call Tot Shop Barbers.
“In this section, we have created a separate area of the shop where children can have their hair cut – this unique concept which we introduced at our Newport shop was the first of its kind in south Wales.
“We offer ‘tear-free’ haircuts surrounded by your children’s favourite characters, catering for children of all ages, from newborns upwards.
“They can even receive reward badges, first haircut certificates and lollipops, and for the parents, we run a family card loyalty scheme where they can qualify to receive a free haircut for their youngest child.”
Justine said the couple had taken the decision to open in Cwmbran because of its convenient location and free and easy parking.
“Our no appointment approach and our late evening opening times fit well with today’s busy modern life, and we believe Cwmbran Shopping is the best location to continue our chain thanks to its vast amount of shops and amenities.”
Cwmbran Shopping centre manager, Gerry Hutchings, said the new shop with its family-friendly style would be a valuable asset to the town.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Justine, Nick and their team to Cwmbran, and we hope the fresh family-orientated approach they provide will be popular with our customers and their children.”
